From early Sunday snow in mountainous areas above 500-600 meters is expected in northern parts of Nordland. Sunday morning and forenoon the snow line will drop to 400-500 meters, and snow is expected in mountain passes further south as well.Locally 5-20 cm of fresh snow/12 hrs is expected, predominately in the north. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult.Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
