General Flood AdvisoryUnder present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "AGHON" {EWINIAR} was estimated based on all available data at 520 km East of Basco, Batanes (19.9°N, 126.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 160 km/h. It is moving Northeastward at 30 km/h. Southwesterly Windflow affecting the western section of the country. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to occasionally moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Lanao Del Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Mandulog, Agus, Liangan and Maranding. + **Misamis Occidental** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Clarin, Palilan and Aloran.People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned advised to take necessary precautionary measures.

Mariners of motorbancas and similarly-sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigating in these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels.TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOKOn the track forecast, Typhoon AGHON will move generally northeastward over the Philippine Sea for the entirety of the forecast period and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning or afternoon.AGHON is forecast to enter a period of weakening by tomorrow as it begins to interact with the mid-latitude environment and undergo post-tropical transition.
