Red Flag Warning issued June 14 at 3:13PM AKDT until June 14 at 11:00PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK* AFFECTED AREA...Yukon Flats and Fortymile Country from Eagle north.* TIMING...Until 11 PM AKDT this evening.* LIGHTNING ACTIVITY LEVEL...2.* WINDS...Northwest 5 to 10 mph.* HUMIDITY...As low as 17 percent.* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.* IMPACTS...Isolated high based thunderstorms today will producedry lightning with less than one tenth of an inch of rain.This could lead to the start of new fires on Friday. Thesehigh based thunderstorms will also produce strong gusty winds,with gusts up to 30 mph.A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or willoccur which could lead to the development of large and dangerousfires. It is directed toward fire agencies, and through them, tothe public.Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in thefield of this Red Flag Warning.
