In Nevada, LasVegas Valley, Northeast Clark County, and Western Clark andSouthern Nye County.* WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly duringextreme heat events.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be little relief during theovernights, especially in the Las Vegas Valley and the lowerelevations of Death Valley National Park.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Carinteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing.
