For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to twofeet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lyingareas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches.* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 3 AM EDT earlythis morning. For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 8 PM thisevening to 4 AM EDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs incoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidalwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing onshore flow during the day onFriday combined with the higher astronomical tides willincrease the potential for moderate coastal flooding with theFriday night high tide. The Friday night high tide is forecastto have the highest water levels and greatest impacts withthis stretch of coastal flooding, and high tide water levelswill lower over the weekend.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
