Coastal Flood Warning issued May 10 at 9:51PM EDT until May 11 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...In Delaware, Kent. In New Jersey, Cumberland.* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs incoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidalwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Onshore flow combined with the higherastronomical tides will result in moderate coastal floodingwith tonight's high tide. Tonight's high tide is forecast tohave the highest water levels and greatest impacts with thisstretch of coastal flooding, and high tide water levels willlower over the weekend but still result in some minor tidalflooding.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Iftravel is required, do not drive around barricades or throughwater of unknown depth.
