Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 24 at 4:43AM EDT until September 24 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Inland Sussex.* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT this evening.* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the mostvulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and alonginland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Coastal Flood Advisory for the hightide cycle this afternoon is mainly for tidal flooding inLittle Assawoman Bay, the Indian River Inlet, and the back bays.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
