In New Jersey, Cumberland.* WHEN...From this evening through late tonight.* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs incoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidalwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing onshore flow during the day onFriday combined with the higher astronomical tides willincrease the potential for moderate coastal flooding with theFriday night high tide. The Friday night high tide is forecastto have the highest water levels and greatest impacts withthis stretch of coastal flooding, and high tide water levelswill lower over the weekend.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
