Coastal Flood Warning issued May 10 at 3:03PM EDT until May 11 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground levelexpected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidalwaterways.* WHERE...In Delaware, Kent. In New Jersey, Cumberland.* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 4 AM EDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs incoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidalwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Onshore flow combined with the higherastronomical tides will result in moderate coastal flooding withtonight's high tide. Tonight's high tide is forecast to have thehighest water levels and greatest impacts with this stretch ofcoastal flooding, and high tide water levels will lower over theweekend but still result in some minor tidal flooding.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Iftravel is required, do not drive around barricades or throughwater of unknown depth.
