Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 19 at 2:02AM EDT until May 19 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 7 PM EDT this evening, especially around the timeof high tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of theseawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road,and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 6:07 AMand 6:29 PM..If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
