Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 27 at 1:45PM EDT until September 29 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one and a half feet of inundation above groundlevel expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial..* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 5:18 PMand 5:35 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
