Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 4:58AM EDT until September 29 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of theseawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road,and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 5:35 AMand 6:12 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
