Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 20 at 2:06PM EDT until May 21 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT Tuesday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 7:13 PMand 7:28 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
