Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 21 at 6:34AM EDT until May 21 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning, especially around the timeof high tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. High tide at Washington Channel is ongoing.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
