Coastal Flood Warning issued May 11 at 9:04AM EDT until May 11 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon, especially around thetime of high tide.* IMPACTS...The unprotected area on the Southwest Waterfront atthe DC Seafood Market is expected to flood. Water is expected toapproach parts of the Hains Point Loop Road, but it will likelybe closed.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 11:04 AM.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Iftravel is required, do not drive around barricades or throughwater of unknown depth.
