Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 10 at 7:43AM EDT until May 10 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until noon EDT today, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides between one half foot and one footabove normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at10:15 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
