Flood Advisory issued May 13 at 1:01PM HST until May 13 at 4:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.* WHEN...Until 400 PM HST.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and instreams.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1258 PM HST, radar indicated scattered heavy showers allacross leeward Oahu and parts of the north shore. Rain wasfalling at a rate of up to 2 inches per hour. Additionalheavy showers are expected through the afternoon.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Honolulu, Waipio, Kunia, Waikele, Mililani, Waipahu, WheelerField, Pearl City, Wahiawa, Schofield Barracks, Makakilo, EwaBeach, Kapolei, Aiea, Iroquois Point, Halawa, Nanakuli, SaltLake, Waianae and Moanalua.Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas proneto flooding.Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions dueto ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.
