Flood Warning issued May 15 at 8:01AM EDT until May 15 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall isexpected.* WHERE...A portion of west central Indiana along Big Walnut Creek,including the following county, Putnam.* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 758 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in thewarned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.- The river gauge along Big Walnut Creek near Roachdale showsthat the river is still rising.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
