Storms will be increasingin coverage this evening, with the heaviest rainfall expected laterthis evening to early Saturday morning. Some uncertainty remains asto the exact axis of heaviest rainfall, but current indications arethat the heaviest rainfall in north central Iowa will be generallybetween Highway 20 and the Iowa Minnesota border. Inwest central Iowa, Calhoun and Sac.* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may beflooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks andrivers are possible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Expected rainfall totals may reach 3 to 7 inches in someareas with locally higher amounts are possible. Rapid risesin creeks, streams and urban flooding will be possible. Fieldflooding and washed out county roads will also be possible.Rainfall rates may approach 2 inches per hour in the heavierstorms.
