In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood,Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.* WHEN...From 8 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with moreheavy rain.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be preparedto take action should flooding develop.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due toexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings areinundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 720 PM CDT, Local law enforcement continues to reportflooding, with additional rainfall expected tonight.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Parsons, Chanute, Neodesha, Fredonia, Erie, St. Paul, Thayer,Altoona, Buffalo, Galesburg, Benedict, Stark, New Albany,Earlton, Coyville, Chanute Airport, Lake Parsons, South Moundand Buxton.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
