Flood Warning issued May 7 at 8:39AM CDT until May 7 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS Wichita KS* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the followingcounty, Greenwood.* WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Low-water crossing near the State Street Bridge on PRoad, one-quarter mile south of 140th Street is inundated withwater and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 839 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in thewarned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Eureka, Hamilton, Severy, Fall River, Climax, Virgil, EurekaAirport, Eureka City Lake, Fall River Lake, Fall River StatePark, Piedmont, Cross Timbers State Park and Toronto Lake.- Other areas across the county may still be affected by highwater due to excessive runoff from the rains last evening andnight.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
