Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due toexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings areinundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1237 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding inthe warned area. Between 3 and 9 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible inthe warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Parsons, Chanute, Iola, Eureka, Neodesha, Fredonia, Humboldt,Yates Center, Erie, Madison, St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas, Moran,Thayer, Altoona, Longton, Toronto, Hamilton and Severy.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
