Totalsnow and sleet accumulations between 5 and 8 inches, with locallyhigher amounts near a foot possible. Total ice accumulations up toone tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and south centralNebraska.* WHEN...From 9 AM Saturday to 6 PM CST Sunday.* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous.Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowingsnow.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing drizzle is expected to developthroughout the day on Saturday before mixing with and changing tosnow Saturday night. Near-blizzard conditions are possible lateSaturday night into Sunday morning, particularly along and southof the state line, due to combination of heavy snow rates andstrong northerly wind gusts of 30 to 35 MPH. Snow and strong windswill taper off from west to east Sunday afternoon and evening, butvery cold temperatures will persist into Monday.Persons should delay all travel if possible.
