Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 14 at 4:02AM EDT until May 14 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT this afternoon,especially around the time of high tide.* IMPACTS...At 2.8 feet, flooding of some of the parking areanear Dock Street in Annapolis may occur, with watersurrounding the Alex Haley Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at11:12 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth.
