Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 20 at 2:42PM EDT until September 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Southern Baltimore and Southeast Harford Counties.* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, flooding is occurring at the end ofThames Street in Baltimore. Water covers the promenade in theInner Harbor in multiple locations. At 3.0 feet, water beginsencroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area. At 4.5feet, portions of the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin are flooded,along with Hutchins Park.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at 9:30PM and 9:26 AM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 4:40 PMand 5:13 AM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 4:02 PMand 3:58 AM. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 4:42 PMand 4:53 AM. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 5:16 PMand 5:49 AM. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 6:43PM and 6:39 AM. The next high tide at Havre de Grace is at12:16 AM and 12:56 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
