Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 25 at 3:31PM EDT until September 26 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the city ofBaltimore.* WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT Thursday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, flooding is occurring at the end ofThames Street in Baltimore. Water covers the promenade in theInner Harbor in multiple locations. At 3.0 feet, water beginsencroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at 2:30AM and 2:24 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
