Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 11 at 5:19PM EDT until May 12 at 1:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.* WHEN...Until 1 PM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses onDock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot isflooded. Compromise Street is flooded.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. High tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 8:32 PMthis evening and 9:30 AM Sunday morning.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
