Riverwalk on west side of townbegins to flood.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 830 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 897.1 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 830 PM CDT Tuesday was 897.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 897.1feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall belowflood stage tomorrow morning.- Flood stage is 897.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of896.3 feet on 09/06/2018.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drivecars through flooded areas.
