Flood Warning issued May 14 at 4:24PM CDT until May 16 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO...The National Weather Service in St Louis MO has issued a FloodWarning for the following rivers in Missouri...Cuivre River near Troy.River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecastprecipitation for the next 24 hours.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Cuivre River near Troy.* WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday afternoon.* IMPACTS...At 23.1 feet, Water begins covering Frenchman Bluff Road(County Road 658) just west of the Cuivre River bridge.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 4:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.5 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagejust after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.0 feet tomorrowmorning. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrowmorning.- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise evenhigher than predicted.
