Widespread rainfall amounts of 2to 3 inches with localized amounts of 5-7 inches arepossible. It will take several hours for all the water fromthese storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 509 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rainhave fallen.- This includes the following low water crossings...Wilson Creek at Farm Road 146, Wilson's Creek at Farm Road150 and Wilson Creek at Farm Road 156.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Battlefield, Fremont Hills,Brookline and Galloway.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
