Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 9 at 8:09PM EDT until May 10 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Middlesex, Western Monmouth and Eastern Monmouth.* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Friday.* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the mostvulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and alonginland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of widespread minor coastalflooding is forecast for the Friday night high tide. TheFriday night high tide is forecast to have the highest waterlevels and greatest impacts with this stretch of coastalflooding, and high tide water levels will lower over theweekend.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
