For the Coastal Flood Watch,one to two feet of inundation above ground level possible inlow- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...In Delaware, Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches. InNew Jersey, Atlantic, Cape May, Atlantic Coastal Cape May andCoastal Atlantic.* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 8 PM this eveningto 2 AM EDT Friday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Fridayevening through late Friday night.* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs incoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidalwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing onshore flow during the day onFriday combined with the higher astronomical tides will increasethe potential for moderate coastal flooding with the Fridaynight high tide.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed.
