Heat Advisory issued June 21 at 2:51AM EDT until June 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH* WHAT...A prolonged period of hot conditions with heat index valuesaround 100 degrees.* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeastand northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, andwest central Ohio.* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...The combination of temperatures in the 90s and highhumidity will increase the threat of heat illnesses.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.
