Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 22 at 5:41AM EDT until September 22 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidalwaterways.* WHERE...Coastal Horry and Coastal Georgetown Counties.* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT this afternoon.* IMPACTS...Vulnerable causeways to and from local beaches mayexperience minor coastal flooding. Low-lying roads andlocations along the Intracoastal Waterway and adjacent tidalcreeks may observe minor coastal flooding. Check with localofficials for the latest information regarding coastal floodimpacts and closures.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
