Flood Warning issued November 11 at 10:51AM EST until November 14 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Charleston SC* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including thefollowing counties, Colleton and Dorchester.* WHEN...Until 700 AM EST Thursday.* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring along the Edisto River and itstributaries, inundation of low-lying roads, water access points,and homes is likely. Colleton County Emergency Manager continuesto report numerous flooded roads along the Edisto River.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Monday Morning: Emergency management reported ongoingflooding across the warned area, especially betweenBranchville and Canadys. Also significant flooding wasreported at T.Coke Weeks Public Boat Ramp, near the highway15 bridge.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or lawenforcement and request they pass this information to the NationalWeather Service when you can do so safely.
