Flood Advisory issued May 1 at 11:09PM CDT until May 2 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the followingcounties, Brown, Coleman, McCulloch and San Saba.* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1107 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall overmuch of Mcculloch county northward to Coleman...was movingnortheast at 35 mph toward Brownwood. Doppler radar indicatedheavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo andsmall stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain hasfallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Brownwood, Brady, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket,Melvin, Trickham, Winchell, Brookesmith, Rockwood, Mercury,Waldrip, Placid, Gouldbusk, Lohn, Lake Brownwood, Camp Bowieand Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty.- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...Belle Plain at Romines, Gifford at Beaver, 4th Street atWood, Magnolia at Belmeade, Cordell at Anderson, GoodShephard at 11th, South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th,White Street at Live Oak Creek, Willis at Belmeade and IndianCreek at 9th.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
