These winds,along with very low humidity, will likely produce critical fireconditions. These winds and critical fire conditions are expectedto continue Monday and Tuesday.The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa hasissued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 9 PMMDT Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.* WIND...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.* HUMIDITY...9 to 12 percent.* TEMPERATURES...Afternoon temperatures in the 80s.* EXPERIMENTAL RFTI...3 to 5 Near Critical to Critical.* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.Outdoor burning is not recommended.A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditionsare either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination ofstrong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures cancontribute to extreme fire behavior.
