Flood Watch issued May 2 at 2:19PM CDT until May 3 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingareas, Brazos, Burleson, Coastal Harris, Grimes, Houston, InlandHarris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto,Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller and Washington.* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Additional rainfall is possible over the Watch area overnightinto tomorrow, which could aggravate ongoing flooding.Saturated soils will result in a greater risk of flashflooding. 1-2 inches of new rainfall are possible withisolated totals of up to 3-4 inches.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodYou should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Flooding isongoing in the warned area.
