Flood Watch issued May 2 at 12:04AM CDT until May 2 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of North and Central Texas, including thefollowing counties: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls,Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan,Mills, Navarro, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, Van Zandt, Milam andRobertson.* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Creeks andstreams may rise out of their banks.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higheramounts up to 5 inches. Also continue to monitor foradditional warnings should they be issued, especially inareas that have already seen excessive rainfall totals overthe last 12 to 24 hours.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be preparedto take action should flooding develop.
