Flood Watch issued April 28 at 11:09AM CDT until April 29 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingcounties, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Polk, SanJacinto, Trinity and Walker.* WHEN...Through Monday morning.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop and movethrough portions of the Brazos Valley/Piney Woods thisafternoon into tonight. Some of these storms may becomestrong to severe and produce heavy rainfall that may lead tolocalized flooding especially in areas with poor drainage orlow-lying areas.
