Flood Advisory issued May 2 at 3:40AM CDT until May 2 at 6:45AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the followingcounties, Denton and Tarrant.* WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rainof 1 to 2 inches per hour due to thunderstorms. This willlikely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lyingand/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding inthe advisory area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Irving, Grand Prairie,Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Euless,Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom City, Keller, Coppell, Hurst, TheColony and Southlake.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
