Flood Watch issued May 4 at 3:36AM CDT until May 5 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingareas, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Harris, Grimes,Houston, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty,Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller andWashington.* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-watercrossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and floodingof creeks and rivers are possible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected today. Anyrainfall that occurs today may contribute to the ongoingflooding. The primary focus is for late tonight into Sundaywith the potential for additional heavy rainfall. Additionalrainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches can be expected.
