In northeast Texas,Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt.* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higheramounts up to 5 inches.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 4:32AM CDT until April 28 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the followingcounties, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Kaufman and Rockwall.* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Thiswill likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lyingand/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding inthe advisory area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Dallas, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite,McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen,Flower Mound, Rowlett, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Wylie,Coppell and Duncanville.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
