Flood Watch issued May 4 at 9:15PM CDT until May 5 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingareas, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Harris,Colorado, Grimes, Houston, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery,Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity,Walker, Waller and Washington.* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff has resulted in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Additional flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive river flooding isongoing and additional street flooding remains possible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- The next round of heavy rainfall is expected late tonightinto Sunday. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall isexpected with isolated higher amounts of 4 to 8 inchespossible within the watch area.
