Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 6:20AM CDT until April 28 at 9:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...Portions of Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Lampasas and McLennanCounties.* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Ponding of water onroadways is occurring or is imminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Thiswill likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lyingand/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding inthe advisory area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Gatesville, McGregor,Clifton, Fort Cavazos, Nolanville, Salado, Laguna Park,Valley Mills, Kempner, Crawford, Fort Gates, Belton Lake,Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Lake Whitney, Oglesby, South Mountainand Union Grove.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
