Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 4 at 3:14PM EDT until May 5 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 AM EDT Sunday, especiallyaround the time of high tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 12:59 AM. The nexthigh tide at Goose Bay is at 2:01 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
