Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 15 at 3:56AM EST until November 15 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Wakefield VA* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Westmoreland and Northumberland Counties.* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST this evening.* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerablelocations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a lowthreat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of waterabove ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roadsand low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawnsnear the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
