Air Quality Alert issued June 16 at 2:16PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WIThe Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an AirQuality Advisory for Ozone which will remain in effect until11:00 PM CDT tonight. This advisory affects people living in thefollowing counties: Door, Kenosha, Kewaunee, Manitowoc,Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan.Due to hot temperatures, sufficient sunshine, and southerlywinds, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHYFOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level. People with lung disease (such asasthma), children, older adults, and people who are activeoutdoors (including outdoor workers) should reduce prolonged orheavy outdoor exertion.For more information on current air quality, please see:https://airquality.wi.gov
