Minor erosional flood damage occurs to lowland andagricultural land adjacent to the river the Afton and Janesvilleareas. This level is the 20 percent chance flood meaning thatthere is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the riverreaching this level.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 3:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagethis morning and continue rising to a crest of 9.2 feet justafter midnight tonight. It will then rise to 9.7 feet earlySunday afternoon.
