Air Quality Alert issued May 13 at 10:40AM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WIThe Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an AirQuality Advisory for PM2.5 which will remain in effect untilmidnight tonight. This advisory affects people living in thefollowing counties: Adams, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Columbia,Crawford, Dane, Dunn, Eau Claire, Grant, Green Lake, Iowa,Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon,Marquette, Menominee, Monroe, Outagamie, Pepin, Pierce, Portage,Richland, Saint Croix, Sauk, Shawano, Taylor, Trempealeau,Vernon, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago, Wood.Due to Canadian wildfire smoke, the air quality index is expectedto reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level.
